Circles of Hope

You may have seen this quote on a bumper sticker: “If you’re reading this, thank a teacher.” Well, if you’re reading this, then you’re not one of 1 in 5 adults in the world who cannot read or write. Think about that number and imagine how it would feel to be a woman — maybe a mother with children to provide for — and to know that your choices and opportunities to raise your income level are limited because you don’t know how to read or write.

But what if you could learn?

The idea behind the Circles of Hope project is simple:
Women joining together to empower women. It starts when you watch the Women of Hope video, the inspiring story of the experience 12 North American women had visiting literacy projects in Nicaragua. The unbroken chain of ministry and support that connects women in North America to women in ministry in Nicaragua is documented in this special report produced entirely by Adventist women producers and writers.
