“I heard about the project at church. A brother came to the church and told us that he had realized there were many people in our community that couldn’t read, even the Bible, and he asked for any volunteers to teach. So I offered myself as a volunteer. God has given us this opportunity to share what little we know, so I told the brother that I would be happy to help. Since last year I’ve been here. It’s hard, because I work all day. But I’m always here with energy for my students, who also have a lot of energy and a desire to learn that can be seen.
