What Gloria likes about her students is their enthusiasm. In particular she appreciates three women who work together at the market and study together. The three operate stands at the market, which they leave for the class and then go back to close up. The three of them motivate her so much because of their dedication to the class despite having to work and take care of their families. If one of them can do it, then the other two are motivated to do it as well. When asked to read something out loud in class, none of them will shy away from it. If one of them misses a class she won’t fall behind, because she will be sure to get the class notes and homework and stay up to date.
